Building Department

The Building Department will be closed Tuesday 4/18/17 – Thursday 4/20/17 for training.

If you have anything to drop off for the Building Department please leave it with the Village Clerk's office. We will be back in the office regular business hours on Friday 4/21/17.

The Building Department administers and enforces the International and NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code regulations as well as the Village of Monroe Zoning laws pertaining to the location, design, materials, construction, alteration, repair, equipment, maintenance, use, occupancy, removal and demolition of structures located within the Village of Monroe.

Attention all Commercial Property Owners – A Change in Occupancy Permit is now required any time a change in tenancy occurs. Contact the Building Department for more information.
